Job Description
- You will coordinate chemistry projects/studies for risk assessment of chemicals (e.g. REACH substances) and plant protection products in close cooperation with the analytical chemistry and biology teams.
- You will develop and validate new extraction and residue analytical methods amongst others with complex substances (e.g. waterinsoluble unstable volatile) where each new study offers a pleasant variability and challenges.
- As a Study Director or Principal Chemist you will carry out the chemicalanalytical part of aquatic ecotoxicological studies.
- You will work under the Principles of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) to ensure complete documentation of all processes so that everyone has an overview of your studies.
- At the end of a project you will write and issue study reports in English for submission and regulatory approval of chemicals and plant protection products.
- You will be in constant contact with internal and external customers to establish and maintain numerous close relationships.
Qualifications :
You fit in best with us if you ...
- have successfully completed a scientific degree in chemistry food chemistry or related fields
- have indepth knowledge of analytical equipment such as GCMS/MS and HPLCMS/MS
- have knowledge in the field of analytical chemistry of problematic substances (e.g. insoluble in water unstable volatile)
- are independent structured meticulous but have a pragmatic way of working
- are an enthusiastic learner
- have a very good command of English
- German skills (spoken and written) would be advantageous but can also be learned
