Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Sample Reception / Courier Driver to join our Food team in Dandenong South Australia. In this dynamic role you will be responsible for both Sample reception duties and courier driving with a focus on sample pickup and delivery to the laboratory.
- Collect and transport samples from various locations to our facility
- Ensure proper handling packaging and documentation of samples
- Perform basic computer administrative tasks including sample registration and data entry via LIMS labelling and moving the samples to the laboratory
- Plan efficient routes for sample collection and delivery
- Conduct vehicle inspections and maintain the courier vehicle in good condition
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while driving and handling samples
- Assist with other reception and administrative duties as needed
Qualifications :
- Valid drivers license with an excellent driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent TAFE qualification (Science degree will be preferred)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g. Microsoft Office)
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Physical ability to lift and carry packages up to 20 Kg
- Previous experience in courier driving or sample pickup preferred
- Experience in reception or administrative roles is a plus
- Familiarity with laboratory environments beneficial but not required
