Job Description
Employee Responsibilities:
- Testing including pH Conductivity Total Organic Carbon and Appearance
- Receiving handling and disposing of samples
- Calibrates or verifies calibration of instruments/devices prior to use.
- Accurately records test results and reports any quality anomalies
- Maintains laboratory supplies and performs laboratory housekeeping as assigned
- Ensures superlative customer service to clients
- Participates in required training activities
- Complies with all pertinent regulatory agency requirements
Leadership Responsibilities:
- Monitors and coaches through the daytoday operations of direct reports
- Coordinates scheduling of work/training
- Performs administrative tasks related to team member growth and development
- May be responsible for maintaining multiple projects
- Participates in overtime weekend and holiday testing when needed
Qualifications :
The Ideal Candidate Would Possess:
- Is selfmotivated adaptable teamoriented andhas apositive attitude
- Ability to learn new techniques perform multiple tasks simultaneously keep accurate records follow instructions and comply with company policies
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
- Desire to work in a moderately physical role that requires standing much of the time
- Strong computer and organizational skills
- Ensures that direct reports feel supported
- Fosters a healthy trusting environment and champions transparency and communication
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in chemistry or other sciencerelated degree concentration
- orequivalent directly related experience
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or
- sponsorship

Additional Information :
The position is fulltime WedSat 8am6:30pm. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Rensselaer NY and the surrounding areas are encouraged to apply.

- Base compensation is 2426 per hour based on experience.
- 2nd and 3rd shift positions will add a 10% and 15% differential to the base pay.
