Job Description
For our location in Leiden we are looking for an enthusiastic Pilot Plant Support Technician to join a new team.
In this position you will provide support to the Pilot Plant in their production campaigns for the introduction of new large molecule pharmaceuticals. You will be required to adhere to GxP guidelines and for some activities you will be required to enter clean rooms. Your activities will include:
- Resupply and transport of buffers for GMP batches
- Ordering of materials for GMP batches in systems such as but not limited to SAP
- Shipment handling
- Cleaning of GMP equipment (such as waterbath LAF/BCS cabinet incubators etc.)
- Preventive maintenance GMP equipment (such as Vicell pH Metaflex Airclean filtertest)
- Daily bench cleaning
- Disposal of empty bottles containers buffer carts
- Warehouse Inventory maintenance in the pilot plant and airlock
- Weekly equipment logbook check/review
- Daily 5S/6S including restocking of cabinets
- Disposal and/or draining of expired/ opened materials/buffers/Media
- Support handling/followup on notifications
Qualifications :
- MLO degree in Biology Biochemistry Life Sciences or related sciences;
- Experience in a pharmaceutical environment and knowledge of GxP is preferred;
- You are flexible and proactive;
- You enjoy working in a team and communicate well;
- You are accurate and have great attention to detail;
- You can work independently;
- You are a quick learner who thrives in a dynamic environment;
- You are selfmotivated with a positive attitude;
- You enjoy volunteering your ideas and working on continuously improving your environment.
- You are fluent in English (Spoken/written)
