Our client, an esteemed interior design and architecture company renowned for its innovative and high-quality design solutions, is seeking a Site Engineer. With a strong reputation in delivering cutting-edge, customized design and construction projects, the company works with a diverse range of clients, transforming spaces with a focus on aesthetics, functionality, and sustainability.
As a Site Engineer, you will play a crucial role in overseeing construction activities, ensuring that projects are executed efficiently, on time, and to the highest standards. This position requires strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills to manage the flow of information between clients, contractors, and on-site teams, ensuring that all projects are delivered within budget and according to specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management:
- Act as the primary liaison between clients and the project team.
- Communicate progress, address concerns, and align expectations with project goals.
Construction Coordination:
- Collaborate with contractors to align operations with project specifications.
- Oversee the scheduling and allocation of resources to ensure seamless execution.
Site Supervision:
- Monitor daily site activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Address on-site challenges and delays proactively.
Project Scheduling and Timeline Management:
- Develop and maintain project schedules to meet key milestones.
- Coordinate timely delivery of plans and resources to the site.
Communication and Meetings:
- Facilitate regular site meetings with clients and contractors.
- Ensure clear and consistent communication between all stakeholders.
Quality Control and Safety Compliance:
- Conduct routine inspections to verify adherence to project specifications.
- Promote a culture of safety and compliance on-site.
Performance Monitoring:
- Track project progress and report performance metrics to stakeholders.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies for enhanced project delivery.
Candidate Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field. PMP certification is a plus.
- Experience: 5+ years in site engineering or project coordination.
Skills:
- Strong leadership and organizational capabilities.
- Proficiency in project scheduling tools (e.g., Monday.com or similar).
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes and safety standards.
Additional Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and own vehicle.
- Fluent in Arabic and English.

Site Coordination and Management

- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and project managers to align site operations with project plans.
- Address and resolve any issues or delays on-site promptly.
Project Planning and Execution
- Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and plans.
- Develop and monitor work schedules to meet project deadlines.
- Ensure that resources (materials, labor, and equipment) are efficiently utilized.
Quality Assurance and Control
- Enforce adherence to quality standards and project specifications.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address non-conformances.
- Maintain documentation related to quality control and site progress.
Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Compliance
- Ensure all site activities comply with safety regulations and environmental standards.
- Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings for site personnel.
- Investigate and report incidents or near-misses, implementing corrective actions.
Stakeholder Communication
- Act as a liaison between the site team, clients, and upper management.
- Provide regular updates on site progress, challenges, and changes to stakeholders.
- Manage and negotiate with contractors and suppliers to ensure project alignment.
Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain detailed records of site activities, material usage, and workforce deployment.
- Prepare and submit progress reports, site diaries, and other required documentation.
- Assist in preparing budgets, cost estimates, and resource plans.
