Dive into the heart of transport logistics with a pivotal role as a Head of Freight Forwarding where youll join a team committed to excellence and cost efficiency. This role places you at the center of our easteuropean operations where youll manage and optimize collection and delivery of goods to ensure toptier service level to our international clientele.
This role is based in Budapest.
Tasks
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage daily transport orders to ensure smooth operations.
- Coordinate carrier selection and maintain effective relationships with transport partners.
- Ensure full compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements in freight forwarding.
- Implement and monitor safety protocols across all operations.
- Lead mentor and develop a highperforming team.
- Maintain and improve service levels to exceed customer expectations.
- Leverage technology to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency.
- Drive initiatives to optimize competitiveness and reduce operational costs.
Requirements
You are an effective communicator with the ability to interact professionally at all levels. You are wellorganized customerfocused and a talented communicator.
Requirements:
- 5 years experience in freight forwarding (haulage)
- Proven leadership skills and team management
- Network within the road transportation industry.
- Proficiency in Hungarian and English (additional languages are a plus).
- Knowledge and awareness of Health & Safety regulations (advantageous).
