Bosch Sensortec (BST) is seeking to hire a Cost Expert for our Manufacturing Coordination Team located in Taipei Taiwan. As member of our worldwide Operations team you will report directly to the Head of Product Cost and Governance while working closely with crossfunctional departments including manufacturing process and product engineering controlling as well as purchasing. In your role as Cost Expert you will be responsible for driving the cost optimization for our BST products in order to ensure BSTs cost competitiveness as global market leader for MEMS microelectromechanical sensors. You enhance the scope of cost work at BST by driving cost engineering stronger towards a proactive forward oriented steering incl. optimization definition and tracking of relevant KPIs.

Your day to day tasks and responsibilities include:
Coordination of overall ratioproject planning (RPP) for all products in mass production at BST
Acting as interface to existing operations teams (e.g. simultaneous engineering teams (SET) purchasing controlling) and Boschinternal plants (e.g. MEMScost coordinators backend value stream managers) to identify cost reduction measures for products in mass production and foster their implementation
Participation in regular cost meetings of SETs to bring in your expertise and ensure efficient cost work to reach the defined cost targets following company guidelines
Analyzing all product relevant cost factors along the entire value stream for different scopes using existing databases and tools containing all relevant production data
Developing new and maintaining existing models for a transparent and proactive cost steering based on KPIs
Monthly reporting of costrelated KPIs in management meetings and reviews supported by the technical teams

Qualifications :

Essential Requirements
35 years of professional knowhow in the area of sensor development/production with focus on finances/cost
Excellent language skills (both orally and in writing) in English
Deep understanding of development and manufacturing processes
Advanced communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders of different technical areas and hierarchy levels.
Active listener with the ability to challenge benefits of requirements against cost
Businessfocused with strong crossfunctional mindset and excellent analytical skills
Proactive and independent style of working with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Experience in semiconductor / consumer electronics industry

Desirable Requirements
Excellent language skills (both orally and in writing) in Mandarin
Demonstrated expertise cost and value stream optimization
