Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facility maintenance troubleshooting and repair of various systems and equipment. This role is crucial for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical electrical and plumbing systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to HVAC systems electrical circuits and plumbing fixtures.
Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and develop maintenance schedules.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies to minimize downtime.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities repairs and inventory of parts.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure all facilities are in optimal condition.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean organized work environment.
Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment and systems.
Provide training and guidance to junior maintenance staff as needed.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in a related field is preferred.
Minimum of 1 years of experience in maintenance or a related field.
Strong knowledge of building systems including HVAC plumbing electrical and mechanical.
Proficient in using hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals schematics and blueprints.
Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Valid driver s license and ability to travel to multiple sites as required.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50100 pds) and perform physically demanding tasks.
Comfortable working at heights in confined spaces and in varying environmental conditions.
