As a middle school teacher youll need to:
prepare and deliver lessons to a range of classes of different ages and abilities
mark work give appropriate feedback and maintain records of pupils progress
and development
research new topic areas maintaining uptodate subject knowledge and devise
and write new curriculum materials
prepare pupils for external examinations
manage pupil behaviour in the classroom and on school premises and apply
appropriate and effective measures in cases of misbehaviour
undertake pastoral duties such as taking on the role of homeroom teacher and
supporting pupils on an individual basis through academic or personal difficulties
communicate with parents and carers over pupils progress and participate in
departmental meetings parents evenings and wholeschool training events
participate in and organise extracurricular activities such as elective programmes
outings social activities school concerts and sporting events
undergo regular observations and participate in regular inservice training as part
of continuing professional development (CPD).

supervising students during night study
participate in external accreditation exercise;
participate in weekend student recruitment activities (At least one Saturday or
Sunday a month for not more than 8 weekends a year.);

Requirements
Educational Qualification:
At least a Bachelor degree in related field.
Candidates with the following experience and training will add advantage:
PGCE
Postgraduate Degree in Related Teaching Subject
A teaching license recognized by home country s education ministry
Candidates with the following experience and training will add advantage: Familiar with IGCSE syllabus and IB MYP conceptbased teaching methodology. IGCSE related trainings MYP related trainings At least 3 years of teaching experience in the teaching subject applied for Homeroom teacher experience
Track record of students academic results for IGCSE
