Job Description
Multistate design firm is seeking a Bridge Engineer for their team in Colorado Springs!
Responsibilities:
- Perform engineering tasks (structural analysis project design cost estimates and design calculations)
- Work closely with multidiscipline team of engineers and technicians
- Adhere to project scope schedule and budget while preparing project documents
- Develop new/improved techniques/procedures
- Work closely with project managers to ensure design work is executed properly and potential issues are addressed so project goals/objectives are met
- Assist with project scope of work/schedule
- Attend client meetings
- Supervise coordinate and review work of junior staff
- Mentor/train junior staff
- Maintain data in project management system
- May travel to project sites
Requirements:
- Bachelor s Degree in Engineering
- 5 years of experience
- PE License
- Proficient with AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design
- Experience with bridge analysis and design programs (LARSA LEAP Bridge Enterprise Lpile SPColumn MDX)
- Experience designing plate girder/prestressed concrete bridges using AASHTO LRFD
