Job Description

Multistate design firm is seeking a Bridge Engineer for their team in Colorado Springs!


Responsibilities:

  • Perform engineering tasks (structural analysis project design cost estimates and design calculations)
  • Work closely with multidiscipline team of engineers and technicians
  • Adhere to project scope schedule and budget while preparing project documents
  • Develop new/improved techniques/procedures
  • Work closely with project managers to ensure design work is executed properly and potential issues are addressed so project goals/objectives are met
  • Assist with project scope of work/schedule
  • Attend client meetings
  • Supervise coordinate and review work of junior staff
  • Mentor/train junior staff
  • Maintain data in project management system
  • May travel to project sites


Requirements:

  • Bachelor s Degree in Engineering
  • 5 years of experience
  • PE License
  • Proficient with AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design
  • Experience with bridge analysis and design programs (LARSA LEAP Bridge Enterprise Lpile SPColumn MDX)
  • Experience designing plate girder/prestressed concrete bridges using AASHTO LRFD
