track record of effectively managing procurement processes negotiating contracts and
building strong supplier relationships.
Location: Sapele Delta State
Monthly Salary Budget: 1Million Naira 1.5Million Naira
Responsibilities
Sourcing: Identify potential suppliers assess their capabilities and negotiate contracts to
secure favorable terms and pricing.
Purchase Orders: Oversee the creation and management of purchase orders for both local
and foreign supplies ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of goods and services.
Cost Management: Analyze costs identify costsaving opportunities and implement
strategies to optimize procurement spending.
Supplier Management: Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers monitor
their performance and address any issues or concerns.
Inventory Management: Collaborate with relevant departments to forecast demand and
maintain optimal inventory levels.
Compliance: Ensure procurement activities adhere to relevant laws regulations and
company policies.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop contingency
plans to mitigate them.
Team Leadership: Provide guidance support and mentorship to the procurement team
fostering a collaborative and highperformance work environment.
Reporting: Generate reports and analyze data to evaluate procurement performance
identify trends and make informed decisions.
Continuous Improvement: Continuously review and improve procurement processes to
enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Desired Skills and Experience
Bachelor/Master s degree in business administration Engineering supply chain
management or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in procurement or supply chain
management with a demonstrated ability to lead procurement teams and deliver
results.
Membership of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply Management of
Nigeria or Certification in Supply chain management are added advantage.
