Job Description
oversee all purchasing activities within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a proven
track record of effectively managing procurement processes negotiating contracts and
building strong supplier relationships.
Location: Sapele Delta State
Monthly Salary Budget: 1Million Naira 1.5Million Naira
Responsibilities
Sourcing: Identify potential suppliers assess their capabilities and negotiate contracts to
secure favorable terms and pricing.
Purchase Orders: Oversee the creation and management of purchase orders for both local
and foreign supplies ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of goods and services.
Cost Management: Analyze costs identify costsaving opportunities and implement
strategies to optimize procurement spending.
Supplier Management: Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers monitor
their performance and address any issues or concerns.
Inventory Management: Collaborate with relevant departments to forecast demand and
maintain optimal inventory levels.
Compliance: Ensure procurement activities adhere to relevant laws regulations and
company policies.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop contingency
plans to mitigate them.
Team Leadership: Provide guidance support and mentorship to the procurement team
fostering a collaborative and highperformance work environment.
Reporting: Generate reports and analyze data to evaluate procurement performance
identify trends and make informed decisions.
Continuous Improvement: Continuously review and improve procurement processes to
enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
Desired Skills and Experience
Bachelor/Master s degree in business administration Engineering supply chain
management or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in procurement or supply chain
management with a demonstrated ability to lead procurement teams and deliver
results.
Membership of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply Management of
Nigeria or Certification in Supply chain management are added advantage.

High Integrity
Working knowledge of procurement process supply chain dynamics and relevant
regulations.
Familiarity with market trends and supplier management best practices.
Marketing Campaigns Support Support with the planning and execution of the Marketing campaigns in Nigeria in alignment with the Marketing Activations Manager Execution of BTL activations in agreement with the Marketing Activations Manager Ensure timely review of the implemented Marketing activities and any necessary course correction Ensure all relevant campaign materials are requisitioned and ordered in time. Carry out reconciliation of the same with the agency to ensure these are utilised in the right way Launch Management Support the Marketing Activations Manager on Launch & Relaunch management Work with S&CM team on L/RL tracking and taking the necessary corrective actions where needed Marketing Budget Management Responsible for the continuous tracking of the Nigeria Marketing budget and flagging any over/underspend issues Competitor Tracking Tracking of Competitor activities in key categories Social Mission Management Coordinate and implement Social Mission initiatives in Nigeria in line with the Global Social Mission Consumer Insights Management Manage the CIM portal to identify any consumer complaints, identify any trends and conclusively close on these whilst engaging the relevant partners (Quality, R&D etc.)
