Job Description

JOB OVERVIEW

Job Title: Physician Urology

Job Type: Locum Tenens

Location: Lewisburg PA

Service Setting: Inpatient

Coverage Type: Call Only

Coverage Period: Feb 1 2025 Ongoing

OnCall Shift Schedule: Fri 4p Mon 7a (12 weekends per month)

Call Type: Beeper

Call Ratio: 1:1

Call Response Time: 30 minutes

PATIENT INFORMATION

Patient Demographics: 16 years and older

Patient Volume/Census: 24

Admissions: Yes

Rounding: Included

Phone Consults: Yes

Case Mix: General Urology (consultations from emergency department and hospital surgeries in main OR)

FACILITY INFORMATION

Trauma Level: trauma cases transferred

EMR System: Epic (experience preferred)

Reason for Coverage: Supplemental

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

Hospital Privileges Required: Yes

Temporary Privileges Available: Yes

Credentialing Timeline: Approx 60 days

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Rate: TBD

Travel Lodging and Malpractice Insurance: Covered (airfare lodging rental car or mileage)

REQUIRED PROCEDURES

General Urology (gross hematuria stones urine retention difficult catheter insertion)

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Licenses: Active PA license

Certifications: BLS ACLS DEA CSR (Pennsylvania)

Experience: Minimum 2 years in Urology

Other Qualifications: Board Eligible or be Board certified; flu vaccine (exemptions allowed)
