Job Description
Operations Manager
We have a fantastic new opportunity for a permanent position as an Operational Manager for our highend retail client who are based Birmingham. The purpose of the role would be to manage the daytoday operations of the distribution centre operation developing and maintaining an outstanding knowledge of systems processes and services and ensuring standards and health & safety requirements are met.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the annual throughput of c.4 million units in a secure environment.
- Fulfilment of stock to 250 stores nationwide and 500000 ecommerce orders.
- Manage an annual warehouse budget.
- Drive performance and KPIs through effective management.
- Responsible for an average of 90 indirect operational and administration staff.
- Manage all aspects of new stock deliveries into the DC.
- Manage the reverse flow of goods from stores to their agreed inventory disposition.
- Firstline problem resolution for Logistics Warehouse Management
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an Operation Manager or strong Supervisor experience
- IOSH Qualified
- Proficient knowledge of computer systems including Microsoft Packages
- Proven ability to lead and develop a high performing team.
