Job Description
- Design steel structures foundations and concrete elements for substations.
- Develop specifications cost estimates proposals and schedules.
- Perform calculations QA/QC reviews and ensure compliance with codes.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary designs and mentor team members.
- Support project reporting proposal development and adhere to client standards.
- Occasional travel required.
- BSCE in Civil/Structural Engineering.
- 8 years of structural engineering experience in the United States.
- FE Exam completion (PE preferred).
- Proficiency with structural analysis tools (e.g. Risa3D STAAD Pro).
- Strong technical organizational and communication skills.
- 10 years of experience seismic design expertise and familiarity with RISA MathCAD LPile.
- PE license and ability to manage budgets and schedules.
The ideal candidate will have experience from another engineering consulting company within the power delivery industry.
