Description:
As a Prevention Advisor Level 1 you play a key role in developing implementing and monitoring the companys wellbeing policy. You will advise management and supervisors conduct risk analyses and design preventive measures to ensure a safe and secure workplace.
You will be the primary contact for all matters related to safety health ergonomics psychosocial aspects and the environment within our organization. Additionally you will represent the company as a permanent member of the Committee for Prevention and Protection at Work (CPBW) actively contributing to discussions and proposing improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analysis and Advice:
Conduct risk assessments and provide advice to management on preventive measures. - Policy Development:
Develop implement and monitor a prevention and wellbeing policy that complies with legal standards and aligns with the company culture. - Control and Reporting:
Coordinate and follow up on internal audits and workplace inspections. Report findings and suggest improvement actions. - Training and Awareness:
Organize training sessions and campaigns to raise employee awareness of their roles in safety and wellbeing. - Permanent Representation in CPBW:
Actively participate in the Committee for Prevention and Protection at Work (CPBW) presenting issues and proposing solutions for improvement. - Collaboration with External Partners:
Liaise with the external prevention and protection service (EDPBW) and other relevant organizations. - Psychosocial Aspects:
Provide guidance and support to employees and teams on psychosocial risks and stress prevention.
Qualifications :
- Education:
- Certified Prevention Advisor Level 1 diploma is required.
- Alternatively a bachelors degree with the willingness to obtain the Prevention Advisor Level 1 certification.
- Experience:
At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within a technical industrial or complex work environment. - Knowledge of Regulations:
Comprehensive knowledge of Belgian legislation on wellbeing at work (WABO) and other relevant standards. - Strong Communication Skills:
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization and to create buyin for safety and wellbeing initiatives. - ProblemSolving Ability:
Analytical mindset capable of identifying issues and proposing practical solutions. - Team Player:
Motivates and collaborates effectively with teams to prioritize safety and wellbeing. - Language Skills:
Fluency in Dutch with proficiency in English and French being a strong asset.
