Ensure all information concerning films & video, images, and the subjects they represent or portrait are of very high quality, accurate and passed to staff and 3rd party consumers in a timely manner.
Films & videos produced directly represent the museum and its reputation; all material produced will be consistent with international museum standards
Process :
Must follow QMA policies and procedures.
Staff :
Provides up-to-date and accurate film & video services and products to MIA departments as required.
Financial :
Purchase of consumables using Petty Cash.
1. Audio and Visual Equipment Setup:
Install and Set Up AV Systems:
Set up, configure, and test audio, video, and lighting equipment for events, meetings, presentations, and other productions.
Ensure all AV equipment is operational, including projectors, microphones, speakers, cameras, and video conferencing systems.
Troubleshoot Equipment:
Identify and resolve any technical issues with equipment before and during events.
Ensure that sound, video, and lighting are working perfectly, making adjustments as needed.
2. Operation of AV Equipment:
Control Sound and Video:
Operate audio mixers, video switchers, microphones, and cameras to ensure the technical elements of events are executed seamlessly.
Adjust volume levels, lighting, and video feeds during live events to maintain optimal quality.
Manage Live Productions:
During live events, operate the equipment and monitor sound and visuals, making real-time adjustments.
Coordinate with speakers, performers, and other technical staff to ensure that AV elements enhance the event experience.
3. AV System Maintenance:
Routine Maintenance:
Perform regular maintenance checks and troubleshooting of AV equipment to ensure its readiness for use.
Clean and repair audio-visual equipment, such as speakers, projectors, and cables, as needed.
Inventory Management:
Maintain an inventory of AV equipment and ensure proper storage and organization of cables, microphones, projectors, and other devices.
Track and report equipment usage and assist with procuring new equipment when necessary.
