Main Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage welding teams ensuring adherence to project schedules safety standards and quality protocols.
Coordinate and monitor NonDestructive Testing (NDT) processes overseeing welding inspections to ensure compliance with client and project specifications.
Manage and maintain welding equipment tools and consumables to ensure operational readiness.
Provide technical guidance to the welding team regarding procedures techniques and safety measures.
Maintain accurate records of welding operations consumable usage and team performance.
Report progress challenges and solutions to project managers and other stakeholders regularly.
Ensure compliance with welding codes and standards (e.g. ASME AWS ISO).
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless workflow and address technical challenges effectively.
Conduct training sessions to enhance the skills and efficiency of welding team members.
Monitor safety compliance and proactively address potential hazards.
Essential Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (vocational training in welding preferred).
A minimum of 10 years of welding experience including 5 years in a supervisory role.
Proficient in various welding techniques including SMAW GTAW and GMAW.
Extensive experience in tank construction and largescale industrial welding projects.
Familiarity with welding codes standards and procedures.
Strong knowledge of NDT processes and inspection methods.
Valid driving license.
Skills Required:
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent understanding of welding processes materials and safety practices.
Ability to interpret blueprints technical drawings and welding specifications.
Effective communication and problemsolving skills.
Proficiency in maintaining records and preparing progress reports.
