Heavy equipment instructor

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Equipment Trainer/Instructor/Operator with expertise in operating and training on various heavy equipment, including cranes, boom trucks, forklifts, and rigging operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in industrial oil and gas fields, combined with excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct training sessions and practical demonstrations on the safe and efficient operation of heavy equipment such as cranes, boom trucks, and forklifts.
• Develop and deliver comprehensive training materials, including safety protocols, equipment operation guidelines, and rigging techniques.
• Ensure trainees are proficient in lifting operations and rigging safety in compliance with industry standards.
• Monitor and assess trainees' progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills.
• Operate heavy equipment as needed in various industrial oil and gas field projects.
• Conduct inspections and ensure all equipment is maintained in optimal working condition.
• Promote a strong safety culture by reinforcing best practices in lifting and rigging operations.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Trainer, Instructor, or Operator in the oil and gas industry.
• Proficiency in operating heavy machinery, including cranes, boom trucks, and forklifts.
• Strong knowledge of rigging, lifting techniques, and industrial safety standards.
• Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English, with the ability to convey technical information effectively.
• Certification in heavy equipment operation, rigging, or related fields is preferred.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with a focus on safety and teamwork.

Work Environment:

• Industrial oil and gas field settings with a focus on safe and efficient operations.
• Involves both classroom-based instruction and on-site practical training.
