Position:OpenShift Cloud Engineer

OpenShift/Cloud Engineer will be accountable for engineering support automation and thought leadership as it relates to Client PlatformasaService offerings. They will assist with application migrations to Client PlatformasaService offerings and other related activities.Required Skills and Experience: 5 combined years experience administering Red Hat OpenShift on VMs Bare Metal and ROSA Experience with OpenShift Container Platform v4.15 thru versionLatestStable Experience with OpenShift Data Foundation / OpenShift Platform Plus Ceph Administration knowledge Cloud Administration experience AWS Azure and/or IBM Cloud Extensive knowledge of Linux Containers (Docker) Kubernetes and deployment of containerized applications/microservices architectures Working knowledge of Java JBoss nginx Node.js and enterprise application architectures Specific knowledge and experience with migrating and refactoring applications to containerized workloads Demonstrated skill in at least one or more configuration management/scripting technology Experienced with automated deployment tools Deep conceptual and applied understanding of DevOps concepts tools and practices Handson experience with CI/CD tools such as Git Jenkins or comparable substitutes Must have good analytic skills and the ability to apply these skills in a multitasking environment where multiple projects will require participation at a given time. Must have outstanding skills in communicating complex technical issues and providing comprehensive written oral and/or digital products. Working knowledge of networking topics such as protocols firewalls load balancer etc. Must have the willingness to document share knowledge and train other members of the team.Preferred: Experience with VMware technologies such as vCenter vRA and vRO Experience running OpenShift on bare metal ROSA experience Azure Experience Working knowledge of SSL certificate management Experience with Agile teams tools practices & ceremonies (kanban standups sprints etc.) Keeps abreast of relevant industry leading standards and emerging technologies Container and Pod level Monitoring and Logging: Dynatrace QRadarTeam Culture: Our team is fast paced fun highly energetic motivated and hardworking. (3.) To participate or contribute on EN business in creation of proposals to drive Service improvement plans.
(4.) To independently resolve tickets & esnure that the agreed SLA of ticket volume and time are met for the team.
(5.) To provide support for on call escalations /L3 level support and doing incident & problem management
(6.) Work on value adding activities such Knowledge base update & management Training freshers coaching analysts & conducting interviews/participation in hiring drives.
