PRIMARY PURPOSE:
To work in a fastpaced information technology environment migrating and supporting Client Managed File Transfer (MFT) processes moving from a Messageway system to an IBM Sterling system with the PCM user interface. This includes managing assigned workload leading conversations with clients to establish migration changes needed by the client and Sedgwick system and coordinating/executing scheduled process migrations with clients and Sedgwick colleagues.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Work as part of a MFT migration team reporting to migrate MFT processes from a Messageway System to a Sterling System with a PCM user Interface.
Managed assigned workloads for process migrations update centralized tracking tools to provide daily status of each assigned migration. High ability to multitask with various assignments is critical.
Understand source migration processes and technologies including connection credentials (ID/Password SSH Key Known Host Keys) and GPG encryption keys.
Setup up and validation of migration processes in IBM Sterling MFT system
Work with Clients and Sedgwick colleagues to resolve issues and make corrections coordinate and manage migrations with clients.
Work with Vendor support for any technical needs/issues within the Sterling system.
Researches and resolves complex technical problems or data discrepancies reported by client.
Acts as client support by identifying and responding to technical and nontechnical issues or questions from internal and external customers.
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs other duties as assigned.
Supports the organizations security policies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education & Licensing:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
Experience:
Experience with IBM Sterling B2Bi/PCM and/or other Managed File Transfer systems including Messageway. Experience with Linux Servers SFTP Server experience experience in Unix scripting and maintaining scheduled services preferred.
Skills & Knowledge:
Experience with IBM Sterling B2Bi/PCM required
Experience with Progress Messageway preferred
Experience working with fast pace multitasking environment to completed assigned tasks and work through obstacles.
Experience with Linux with navigational knowledge preferred
Experience with UNIX SFTP and FTP server preferred
Experience working out of a ticket queue with defined SLAs
Knowledge of file encryption software (PGP & GPG)
Ability to work effectively in a high change environment
Excellent oral and written communication skills
PC literate including Microsoft Office products
Analytical and interpretive skills
Strong organizational skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to create and complete comprehensive accurate and constructive written reports
