About Us
Everest Carbon Inc. is unlocking largescale carbon removals through Enhanced Rock Weathering (ERW). Our pioneering sensor technology will enable live measurement of inorganic carbon fluxes across millions of hectares of agricultural land worldwide to verify carbon removals. We recently closed our Seed VC round and are scaling globally with R&D in Linz Austria. Join us to combat climate change with cuttingedge innovation!

Your Mission
Lead the development of our proprietary hardware software and IoT solutions. Manage a multidisciplinary team to deliver R&D milestones validate sensors in realworld conditions and scale technology to TRL 9 and beyond. Align technical objectives with business goals while fostering a culture of innovation.

Tasks

  • Lead the R&D team in developing nextgeneration sensor technology and IoT solutions.
  • Drive the continuous integration of hardware and software development processes.
  • Oversee field testing pilot studies and regulatory compliance to validate sensors under realworld conditions.
  • Ensure timely delivery of R&D milestones including largescale field validation.
  • Collaborate with the product team to align technical development with customer needs and market demands.
  • Foster a culture of innovation learning and excellence within the R&D team.
  • Identify and manage external partnerships and research collaborations.

Requirements

  • Education: Advanced degree in engineering physics chemistry or related field.
  • Experience: Proven R&D leadership in cuttingedge hardware systems startup experience preferred.
  • Skills: Strong technical expertise across chemical mechanical and electrical engineering with the ability to bridge interdisciplinary gaps.
  • Leadership: Experience building and managing highperforming technical teams.
  • Mindset: Executionfocused adaptable and communicative.
  • Bonus: Knowledge of enhanced rock weathering or related environmental monitoring applications.
