Location: Richmond VA (23219)
Client: State of Virginia
Duration: 12 Months
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Power BI Developer to create and maintain Power BI solutions. The ideal candidate will leverage Power Platform technologies and collaborate with business users to deliver effective solutions. This role requires strong Power BI skills a solid foundation in SQL and the ability to mentor others on best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Power BI visualizations and solutions.
- Collaborate with business analysts to gather requirements and identify appropriate tools within Power Platform.
- Mentor team members and citizen developers on Power Platform usage.
- Design and implement secure Power Platform solutions following industry best practices.
- Create and maintain technical documentation to support development and testing processes.
Required Skills:
- Extensive Power BI experience creating visualizations (5 years).
- Proficient in DAX (5 years).
- Advanced SQL skills (10 years).
- Experience in database design to support Power Platform applications (5 years).
- Familiarity with Power Platform technologies (Power Apps SharePoint Online etc.) (5 years).rt
