Position: VDOT Solutions Architect
Location: Richmond VA (23219)
Client: State of Virginia
Duration: 12 Months
Job Description:
We are seeking a VDOT Solutions Architect to design and implement enterpriselevel application architectures and integrations. The ideal candidate will collaborate with IT teams to translate business needs into automated solutions ensuring compatibility with existing systems and technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and document solution architectures and system designs.
- Capture and analyze business requirements for data workflows and integrations.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to assess business needs and provide strategic consultation.
- Design and implement enterprise security and technology patterns.
- Oversee application integration across disparate business units and systems.
Required Technical Skills:
- 8 years in enterpriselevel application design and integration.
- 8 years of experience in Azure (cloudnative and hybrid architecture).
- 8 years in SaaS architecture.
- 8 years working with Agile/Scrum teams.
- Familiarity with Spatial Architecture (ArcGIS preferred).
