Role: GSS Expert
Location: Initially onsite for first two Weeks in Northfield MN Then Fully Remote
Duration: 1 to 2 Months
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the team comprising of the owner production manager and personnel in logistics and production to identify and correct system inefficiencies
- Lead the initiation planning optimization and potential customization of all modules of the GSS ERP system
- Help develop and streamline protocols for ERP usage across different departments
- Provide strategic advice to drive business benefits cost optimization and process improvements while ensuring that the system is being used to its full capabilities
- Provide handson training and support to all ERP system users ensuring proficient use of the software
- Collaborate with the purchasing department post initial emphasis on production and manufacturing to enhance their utilization of the system
- Monitor ongoing system usage and provide reports to management on areas for improvement
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience working with Global Shop Solutions (GSS) system
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment is essential
- A background in strategic planning with a handson approach
- Strong interpersonal and teaching skills
