Job Description
Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Automation Testing Lead to drive the automation testing efforts for critical GIS projects in Brooklyn NY. This role involves leading a team to manage automation test suites ensure smooth application releases and enhance testing processes for the ArcFM and DXI applications. The position demands expertise in automation tools API and database testing and strong leadership capabilities in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the automation testing team for GIS applications ensuring highquality deliverables.
- Develop and execute automated test scripts using UFT Java VBScript and C#.
- Design and enhance automation suites with innovative features like overnight test schedules and health checks.
- Conduct performance and API testing using tools such as JMeter Fiddler and Postman.
- Perform database testing using SQL and Oracle while managing repositories using Git.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to manage risks and ensure seamless releases.
- Track defects and report progress using Azure DevOps.
- Provide enduser training and support for application adoption.
- Identify and address challenges in the automation framework to improve testing efficiency.
Skills/Qualifications:
- MustHave:
- 10 years of experience in automation testing and leading test teams.
- Proficiency in UFT for regression testing and test automation.
- Strong programming knowledge (Java VBScript C#).
- Experience with API testing tools (Fiddler Postman JMeter) and database testing using SQL.
- Expertise in Git for version control and Azure DevOps for test management.
- Comprehensive knowledge of automation frameworks and methodologies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Preferred Skills:
- Experience with ArcFM DXI ESRI ArcGIS and related GIS tools.
- Familiarity with Agile SDLC and iterative development practices.
- Handson experience in performance testing techniques.
- Strong organizational and documentation abilities.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in GIS and database projects.
- Familiarity with enterprise GIS tools (ArcGIS ArcMap).
- Understanding of acceptance testing and troubleshooting complex systems.
- Knowledge of SDLC processes and Agile methodologies
