Network Engineer

Roles and responsibilities

Strong hands-on experience in the installation, testing and maintenance of LPG/NG/SNG systems.
Expert in WOOQD standard, NFPA54 and NFPA58.
Experience in installation and testing of aboveground and underground LPG tanks for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
Well knowledge about LPG/NG/SNG piping including HDPE, CS, Copper, etc.
Experienced in installation and maintenance of LPG vaporizer, Pressure regulators, LPG air mixers, solenoid valves, gas detection system, etc.
Capable to prepare method statement, O&M Manuals for LPG projects.
Should be capable to provide technical direction and supervision to a team of technicians for the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of LPG system
Network Design and Implementation

Design, configure, and implement network infrastructures, including LAN, WAN, and cloud-based systems.
Plan and set up network hardware such as routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
Ensure network architecture is scalable, reliable, and secure to meet business needs.
Network Monitoring and Troubleshooting

Monitor network performance using network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, PRTG) to detect and resolve issues.
Troubleshoot network problems, including connectivity issues, slow performance, or network downtime.
Perform root cause analysis to resolve network issues and prevent recurrence.
Security Management

Implement and maintain network security protocols, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems (IDS).
Configure and manage access controls, encryption standards, and user authentication processes.
Monitor for potential security threats and take necessary actions to mitigate risks.
Network Optimization and Performance Tuning

Analyze network traffic to identify bottlenecks and optimize network performance.
Implement techniques to enhance network speed, reduce latency, and improve bandwidth utilization.
Continuously assess and upgrade network infrastructure to ensure efficiency and scalability.
Documentation and Reporting

Maintain up-to-date network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and setup details.
Prepare regular reports on network performance, incident resolutions, and security vulnerabilities.
Provide detailed documentation for network changes, upgrades, or installations.

Desired candidate profile

• • Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
  • Network Security: Familiarity with firewall configurations, IDS/IPS, and VPN technologies.
  • Troubleshooting Skills: Ability to diagnose and resolve network issues quickly and effectively.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical staff.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage network installation, upgrade, and maintenance projects.

• Knowledge

  • Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds).
  • Understanding of cloud networking solutions and technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Knowledge of network topologies, design principles, and best practices for optimization.

• Certifications (Optional)

  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Professional (CCNP).
  • CompTIA Network+ or Security+ certifications.
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) for security-focused roles.
