Familiarity with different types of fire extinguishers
Knowledge of fire safety standards (NFPA) and QCDD regulations.
Experience in testing, maintenance and refilling of fire extinguishers.
Ability to lift and carry fire extinguishers (up to 50lbs)
Comfortable in various environments, industrial, commercial and residential locations.
Database for fire extinguishers refilling customers.
Team Management
Supervise, train, and motivate warehouse staff to achieve efficiency and productivity.
Assign tasks and monitor the performance of warehouse workers.
Provide regular feedback, conduct performance reviews, and address employee concerns.
Inventory Management
Oversee inventory levels and ensure accurate stock counts.
Implement systems to track goods received, stored, and dispatched.
Conduct regular inventory audits and resolve discrepancies.
Warehouse Operations
Ensure smooth and efficient operation of warehouse processes, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all activities.
Maintain proper documentation of warehouse transactions and activities.
Logistics Coordination
Coordinate with logistics teams for timely delivery and pickup of goods.
Schedule and manage inbound and outbound shipments to meet deadlines.
Communicate with suppliers, vendors, and transport providers as needed.
Safety and Compliance
Enforce safety guidelines and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Conduct regular safety checks and ensure the proper use of equipment.
Investigate and report accidents or incidents promptly.
Space Utilization
Optimize warehouse layout and storage systems for maximum efficiency.
Monitor and manage the use of storage space to avoid overcrowding.
Ensure that goods are stored in a safe, organized, and accessible manner.
Communication in English.
Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency calls as needed.
