I need an additional senior level candidate who is local and can be onsite for a 3/day onsite hybrid role. I am not looking for candidates who reside in North Jersey.. Edison and north. No Jersey city etc. One hour max commute.
Must have exceptional Database experience or do not send!!!
Very hot. Automotive client experience is a big plus but not required.
Location: Camden NJ / Hybrid (3/days on site)
Duration: One year with likely extension
Start: ASAP
Rate: $70/hr
US citizen GC
** Candidates must reside within a one hour 15minute window. Role is hybrid and requires 3 days on site.

NOTE: The consultant must have very strong Database (queries table joins) and Java 8 to Java 17 skills

Job Description:
The Senior Java Developer is responsible for writing and testing enterpriselevel code in Java environment. This role requires strong attention to detail and problemsolving abilities as well as the ability to adjust to changing circumstances and learn new skills.
Primary Responsibilities
Migrate code from Java 8 to Java 17 and be able to put it into AWS following departmental standards
Review and validate the requirements and functional specifications
Work closely with BAs to understand requirements
Participate in regular meetings and speak to their processes
Required Skills and Personal Qualifications
Must have proficiency in the following:
o Java
o Spring Boot
o SQL
o Database design
o Containerization
o AWS ECS
o AWS SDK
o GitHub
Functional programming experience in AWS Lambda AWS Fargate AWS S3 AWS DynamoDB AWS Cloud
Watch Logs AWS Cloud Formation
IAC (infrastructure as a code)
Experience in creating highly available and scalable applications in AWS
Experience developing Microservices
Experience with SOAP and REST integration
High level of organizational written and oral communication skills
