Job Description
Responsibilities
- Builds productive working relationships with key partners to ensure recommendations and priorities are understood by all impacted parties.
- Leverages influencing and negotiation skills to champion optimal solutions.
- Acts as an advocate for change to introduce new technologies and processes to shape the business strategy.
- Translates business problems into strategic and costeffective technology solution alternatives.
- Leverages broad IT knowledge to research emerging technologies and apply to business problems.
- Creates blueprint capabilities for software middleware and hardware deliverables.
- Ensures all deliverables comply with IT policies and procedures.
- Partners with business and IT leaders to align business initiatives priorities and schedules based on strategic business and IT plans.
- Influences the broad organization by leveraging knowledge of existing technology solutions and options and the research that needs to be done to find new options.
- Owns and manages the capability landscape for one or more lines of business and its product owners as the business and the industry evolves.
- Develops deep knowledge of the business area(s) supported and the competitive landscape to provide context for decisionmaking.
- Maintains a comprehensive understanding of business functions.
- Combines technical and functional knowledge to produce highly functional solutions to business problems.
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum of eight years related work experience with at least three years of development experience.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Graduate degree preferred.
- Prior experience in financial services firm preferably investment management.
- Program Management and Solution Discovery experience.
