Job Description
Job Title: Drupal Architect(US Citizens Only)
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:
Responsibilities:
- Lead the architecture design and development of Drupalbased websites and applications.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and define technical solutions that meet business needs.
- Oversee the overall Drupal platform architecture including serverside development database design and frontend integration.
- Define best practices for Drupal development ensuring scalability security performance and maintainability.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including developers designers and project managers to ensure the successful implementation of Drupal solutions.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards best practices and guidelines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Drupal websites and applications.
- Lead performance optimization initiatives to improve website speed scalability and user experience.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers and other team members.
- Stay current with Drupal best practices new modules and emerging technologies to ensure our solutions are innovative and futureproof.
- Design and implement continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for Drupal projects.
- Support the migration of legacy applications to Drupal 8/9 or newer versions.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience with Drupal development including at least 2 years in an architectural role.
- Expertise in Drupal (8/9/10) module development theming and API integrations.
- Strong experience with Drupal backend architecture including custom module development entity API and Drupals database structure.
- Proficiency in PHP MySQL JavaScript HTML and CSS.
- Indepth knowledge of Drupals architecture including the services layer configuration management and content management workflows.
- Experience with Drupal Commerce or similar eCommerce platforms is a plus.
- Expertise in DevOps tools for deployment automation (e.g. Jenkins Docker GitLab CI).
- Experience with frontend technologies (e.g. React Angular Vue.js) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of web security best practices and performance optimization techniques.
- Experience working with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure) is a plus.
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g. Git) and code management workflows.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
