Job Title:Senior SQL Administrator(US Citizens Only)

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:
Responsibilities:
- Administer maintain and optimize SQL Server databases (2012 and above) ensuring high availability and performance.
- Perform database tuning query optimization and troubleshooting to ensure optimal database performance and availability.
- Design and implement backup recovery and disaster recovery plans for SQL Server environments.
- Implement manage and troubleshoot High Availability solutions including Always On Availability Groups clustering and replication.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure efficient database design and provide database support for application deployments.
- Perform database migrations and upgrades ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity.
- Monitor and optimize server performance storage and capacity planning to ensure scalability.
- Manage database security including user access permissions and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Automate routine tasks such as backups and monitoring using SQL Server Agent or PowerShell scripts.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior DBAs and team members.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation on database configurations changes and performance improvements.
- Respond to and resolve escalated database issues including performance security and availability problems.
Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience in SQL Server database administration with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
- Expertise in Microsoft SQL Server (2012 or higher).
- Experience with database performance tuning query optimization and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in TSQL stored procedures triggers and functions.
- Handson experience with High Availability and Disaster Recovery solutions (Always On SQL Clustering Log Shipping Replication).
- Experience in cloudbased database services (e.g. Azure SQL Database Amazon RDS).
- Experience with database backup and restore strategies as well as encryption and security best practices.
- Proficiency in scripting (e.g. PowerShell SQL scripts) for automation and monitoring.
- Experience with database monitoring and management tools (e.g. SQL Server Management Studio Redgate Datadog SolarWinds).
- Experience in ITIL practices and service management frameworks.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
