Job Description
Job Title: Cyber Security Administrator (US Citizens Only)
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:
Responsibilities:
- Monitor manage and maintain the organizations cybersecurity infrastructure including firewalls intrusion detection systems (IDS) and endpoint protection solutions.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and remediate security risks.
- Implement and enforce security policies standards and procedures.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents including root cause analysis and mitigation.
- Manage user access controls authentication systems and permissions to ensure data security.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security into system design and deployment.
- Stay updated on emerging threats vulnerabilities and best practices in cybersecurity.
- Prepare and maintain documentation for security protocols incident response and compliance audits.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Cyber Security Administrator Security Analyst or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of network security protocols tools and technologies.
- Handson experience with SIEM tools firewalls antivirus systems and encryption techniques.
- Experience with compliance frameworks such as GDPR ISO 27001 NIST or PCI DSS.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation for security tasks (e.g. Python PowerShell or Bash).
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Security certifications such as CISSP CISM CEH CompTIA Security or equivalent.
- Experience with cloud security for platforms like AWS Azure or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and tools.
- Experience with forensic tools and techniques for incident analysis.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
