Job Description
Job Title: Pharmacy Technician
Location: Providence RI 02905
Summary:
This position supports the pharmacy department ensuring efficient operations and providing highquality patient care.
Shift:
- Monday to Friday 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
- 5 days per week 8 hours per day
- Total: 40 hours per week
Responsibilities:
- Assist in pharmacy operations requiring familiarity with drug usage and related tasks.
- Must hold certification from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (CPhT) and be licensed as a Tech II by the RI Board of Pharmacy.
- Sterile compounding and IV preparation experience preferred.
- Work includes availability every other weekend and holiday as per schedule.
- Utilize computer systems efficiently and demonstrate proficiency in the English language.
- Exhibit strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
