Key Responsibilities:

• Mental health assessment:

  Conducting thorough evaluations of patients mental health status including symptoms behaviors and potential risks.
• Treatment plan development:

  Creating individualized care plans based on patient assessments including medication management therapy interventions and support strategies.
• Medication administration:

  Properly administering psychiatric medications and monitoring for side effects.
• Therapeutic communication:

  Establishing trust and rapport with patients through active listening empathy and nonjudgmental communication.
• Crisis intervention:

  Responding effectively to immediate mental health crises and stabilizing patients in urgent situations.
• Patient education:

  Providing information and support to patients and their families regarding mental health conditions treatment options and coping mechanisms.
• Collaboration with team:

  Working closely with psychiatrists psychologists social workers and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Risk assessment:

  Identifying potential risks for selfharm violence or other dangerous behaviors and taking necessary precautions.
• Documentation:

  Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records including observations interventions and progress updates.

Qualifications:

• Current RN PSYCH certification in Arizona (dont leave home without it!).
• Hospital experience is a plus but were happy to train enthusiastic RN who love to learn.
• Excellent communication skillsextra points if you can throw in a great dad joke!
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required (but dont worry no capes required).

Pay: $65.00 $69.00 per hour (plus we promise itll come with good vibes!)
Expected hours: 36 per week (with coffee breaks snack breaks and well more breaks!)
