Job Description
Job Title: Dotnet/ Azure/ Telematics Developer
Location: Augusta Maine
Position Overview:
We seek an experienced Azure/Telematics Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing scalable and efficient applications using Azure technologies. You will be responsible for integrating with external TSPs using APIs to manage data ingestion and processing.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain robust applications utilizing C# and .NET Core.
Design and implement RESTful APIs for data integration with TSPs.
Use Azure Event Hub to stream data for processing and manage data workflows.
Work with Azure Service Bus to ensure reliable messaging between components.
Store processed data in Cosmos DB Redis Enterprise SQL Server or Azure Storage accounts.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define and refine requirements.
Participate in code reviews and maintain best development practices.
Troubleshoot and optimize performance issues related to APIs and data storage.
Primary Qualifications:
Mandatory Skills:
Proficiency in C# and .NET Core.
Strong experience with Entity Framework.
Knowledge of Event Hub for data processing.
Experience in building Web APIs (REST APIs).
Familiarity with Cosmos DB for NoSQL solutions.
Proficient in SQL Server for relational database management.
Experience working with Azure Service Bus for enterprise messaging.
Knowledge of Azure Storage Accounts for data storage solutions.
Handson experience with Redis Enterprise (including Redis Search Cache JSON).
Secondary Qualifications:
Good to Have Skills:
Experience with common industry terminology surrounding telematics (i.e. TSPs aka Telematic Service Providers). We only consume from TSP APIs
Familiarity with Azure Data Factory for data integration and management.
Experience using Azure Logic Apps for automation of workflows.
Knowledge of Azure Service Fabric for microservices architecture.
