Job Description
Job Title: Ab Initio Lead Developer
Location: Hybrid Princeton NJ
Employment Type: Long term contract (12 Months)
Visa: Any
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the endtoend development and delivery of data integration solutions using Ab Initio tools.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Design and implement ETL processes to support data ingestion transformation and integration.
Optimize Ab Initio workflows for performance and scalability.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of developers.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Ab Initio applications and workflows.
Ensure compliance with data governance security and best practices.
Coordinate with crossfunctional teams including data architects database administrators and business analysts.
Maintain documentation for system designs workflows and processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum 8 years of IT experience with at least 5 years of handson expertise in Ab Initio development.
Technical Proficiency:
Strong experience with Ab Initio tools including GDE Co>Operating System Express>It and Conduct>It.
Proficient in designing and developing complex Ab Initio graphs and workflows.
Solid understanding of ETL processes data integration and data warehousing concepts.
Experience with relational databases like Oracle SQL Server or DB2.
Familiarity with scripting languages like UNIX shell scripting or Python.
Leadership Skills:
Proven ability to lead and mentor a development team.
Excellent problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.
Communication:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with stakeholders effectively.
Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP) is a plus.
Knowledge of Big Data technologies like Hadoop Spark or Kafka.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
Certifications in Ab Initio or related technologies are advantageous.
