school counselors job is to support students academic career and personal development. They work with students to help them:
Plan for the future: Create academic and career development plans and help students select courses
Manage challenges: Help students deal with stress school work and other challenges
Develop skills: Help students develop transferable skills such as conflict resolution
Access resources: Direct students and families to helpful resources
Communicate: Facilitate communication between students teachers parents and administrators
School counselors should have excellent communication skills including active listening and empathy. They should also be organized have strong decisionmaking skills and be able to analyze student performance to identify problems.
meeting with clients virtually or during sales visits. demonstrating and presenting products. establishing new business. maintaining accurate records. attending trade exhibitions, conferences and meetings. reviewing sales performance. negotiating contracts and packages.
