Job Description
Baker
As a Chef specialising in baking and pastry you will work closely with our culinary team to create beautifully crafted baked goods and desserts that delight our clients and enhance our menu offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
Creative Excellence: Prepare bake and artfully present a variety of pastries bread and desserts with a focus on taste texture and quality.
Quality Control: Ensure all products meet our high standards for presentation flavour and freshness consistently exceeding client expectations.
Inventory Management: Oversee stock control for baking ingredients maintaining appropriate inventory levels to support production and minimise waste.
Event Support: Collaborate with the catering team to contribute to special events themed dessert tables and custom orders.
Cleanliness and Safety: Maintain a spotless organised kitchen and baking area adhering to health and safety standards at all times.
Team Collaboration: Foster a positive supportive environment through effective communication and teamwork helping junior team members as needed.

Qualifications :
- Ideally you will have previous experience working in a similar role within a contract catering company or educational institution.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure in a highvolume kitchen environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays as required.
