Job Description
We are seeking a passionate Data Scientist to join our team. You will be instrumental in designing and developing machine learning models in the area of risk and fraud detection.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Analyze data design and develop machine learning models for usecases related to fraud detection.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to select the most appropriate machine learning solutions.
- Work closely with data engineers to identify and utilize the best datasets and data representation methods.
- Research and implement suitable machine learning algorithms and tools.
- Develop metrics and evaluation processes to measure the performance and impact of your models.
- Train test and retrain machine learning models to maintain and improve their accuracy.
- Collaborate with team members to deploy machine learning models to production environments.
- Utilize and when necessary extend existing machine learning libraries and frameworks.
Qualifications:
- A university degree in a numerical field (Machine Learning Statistics Mathematics Computer Science Physics Engineering etc.).
- At least 3 years of work experience in the Data Science related field.
- Expertise in at least one machine learning field such as regression classification clustering computer vision LLMs
- Solid understanding of linear algebra and statistical modelling.
- Experience with at least one machine learning framework such as ScikitLearn Pytorch Tensorflow or MLLib.
- Fluent in Python and SQL
- Highly proficient in spoken and written English.
- Excellent communication skills and a pragmatic approach to problemsolving.
- A strong willingness to learn and stay updated on the latest trends in programming and machine learning.
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of Scala or Java.
- Experience with deploying ML solutions to production.
- Experience with AWS or other cloud providers.
- Experience with Spark Athena Clickhouse Postgres Kubernetes Docker.
