Logistics Specialist

Position Summary

Jet Aviation Saudi Arabia are seeking an experienced and detailoriented Stores Coordinator to join our aviation maintenance team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement storage and shipment of aircraft materials components and tools across multiple locations. This role ensures the timely and compliant handling of parts inventory and freight operations while maintaining safety and regulatory standards.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assist in all store functions including procurement inventory management and tool control.
  • Support purchasing activities related to stock ordering and maintenance requirements (both scheduled and ADHOC) across the company.
  • Track and follow up on open purchase orders with suppliers.
  • Manage repairable components and coordinate with suppliers for repairs.
  • Ensure compliant receipt dispatch storage and management of aircraft parts and materials including stock rotation and shelflife tracking.
  • Track and manage calibrated tools across multiple company locations to ensure compliance. Coordinate and manage all stock movements (internal & external) investigating any discrepancies.
  • Safely load and unload delivery vehicles.
  • Ensure all onsite materials meet specification requirements and are in new or suitably repaired condition.
  • Assist the maintenance team with mobilizing and demobilizing freight to and from other bases.

Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in aviation logistics with a preference for 5 years.
  • Prior experience in supply chain management aviation logistics or a similar field is essential.
  • A degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management is preferred.
  • Aviation experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.

Specific vision required for this job include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and the ability to adjust and focus.

Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; handle or feel objects tools or controls; reach with hands and arm; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or up to 25 Kg. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and the ability to adjust and focus

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate with occasional high volume when aircraft arrive/depart. The employee is frequently exposed to vibration. Occasional fuel fumes may permeate the workplace. Employee must be willing and able to work in all types of weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. The Hangar environment may be extreme hot and cold during certain seasons of the year.
