Job Description
Our Site Reliability Engineer teams are responsible for designing building and scaling core systems that support our mobility applications running in production. Premium service and customer excitement are core values of our business and this touches every fabric of our technology stack too. With the challenge of delivering the best customer experience in their hands our site reliability teams are constantly looking to optimise our service resiliency availability and performance using cutting edge technology.
YOUR ROLE AT SIXT
- With your technical excellence of cloud principles and technologies You are evaluating designing implementing but also improving our AWS Platform Services
- You have a DevOps mindset and you are eager to evangelize You build it you own it with deep conviction
- Collaborate on decisions towards programmatic integration of systems and processes.
- You dig deep and find the root cause of any issue
- You participate in oncall rotations and be available for escalations
YOUR SKILLS MATTER
- You have several years of experience in Cloud infrastructure Microservice architectures and security best practices
- Leading complex initiatives to constantly improve our Platform Services for our Developers is familiar to you and youre experienced with tools like Terraform Puppet Chef Salt or Ansible for configuration management
- Youre proficient in AWS services like EKS RDS and Open Search
- Knowledge on programming Go Java or Python
- Furthermore you gained monitoring and observability experience
- Good English skills are a matter of course for you
