Job Description
- Assesses the functional as well as cognitive and social status of the referred patients, do re-assessment on different specific stages after receiving prosthesis (UBET,CAPP and functional test are some forms needed to perform assessment)
- Follows the set-up Occupational Therapy assessment guidelines (based on American Occupational Therapy Association / AOTA) and 3D project protocol for assessing patient of the project, The 3D-OT will assess patient’s needs for occupational therapy and determine need for specific assistive devices.
- Adjusts, maintains and trains patients for the proper use of various assistance devices with the use of 3D technology or not.
- Look forand design adapted solutions and assistive devices including or not 3D technologies for 3D patients challenges
- Provide suitable individual occupational therapy treatments according to patient’s needs and WHO international standards of care.
- The 3D-OT will train patients and their relatives for their maximal autonomy. Home visiting and home exercises can be provided, submitting home visit report to your line manager on time
- Follow up patients who received 3D prints at least every month
- Be able to do 3D scanning and measurements
- Assist prosthetic clinician with fitting and modification when needed
