RN - 2W - Med Surg

General job duties. Gerneral MS patients. Collaborates with other interprofessional colleagues including physicians to plan implement and evaluate care. Demonstrates competency and practices within the full scope of nursing expertise/knowledge and utilizes appropriate age and population specific standards as designated in their assigned clinical setting. Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. EMREpic AccuDose Bladder Scanner Phillips monitors Telemetry Required skills and minimum years of experience. 1 yr med/surg experience. Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. BLS must be AHA. ND or compact state RN license. Shift or schedule requirements. 12 hr shifts D/N EOW EOH Floating to over units/departments. Home unit 2W but can float to any med/surg unit on any campus as needed. Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept. 10 bed department Nurse to patient ratio of this unit. 5:1 day shift and 6:1 night shift Dress Code: Navy blue scubs Tell us about the unit/department specific training and orientation program. 1 day lead center training 2 12 hr shifts on the unit with a preceptor

Comments:12 hour shifts. Every other weekend and holiday. Can do 36 or 48 hour guarantees. for 48 OT billed after 48. might do straight nights! Cannot take any travelers living within a 60 mile radius of the facility. Local travel rate for those living 60 to 80 miles from the facility (client rate will be reduced by xx8.00 for those travelers).
