You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe IT Project Manager is responsible for the coordinationand completion of IT projects and therefore oversees all aspects of theproject using planning monitoring and controlling processes. A PM has dutiesto perform at each phase of a project to maintain schedule timeline withinbudget and deliver a quality project. The IT Project Manager must develop clarifyand manage the scope of the project and prepare reports for upper managementregarding the status of each project. PM applies project management knowledgeskills tools and techniques in supporting project leads and driving thedevelopment and application of project management methodology and culture.
Primary ResponsibilitiesJob Responsibilities:
Identifies tracks monitors and communicatesprojectrelated issues scope changes variance and contingencies that mayarise during the implementation of projects. Facilitates amicablesolutions with the appropriate customer
Easily shifts from one task to another withoutlosing sight of longterm goals.
Understands how the DBHDD s applications andsystems are impacted when implementing changes.
Effectively communicates relevant projectinformation to key stakeholders in a timely and appropriate manner.
Collaborates effectively with people across the agencyto accomplish project goals.
Sets high expectations and enforces standards tomeet project timelines.
Remains aware of impending deadlines andcompeting forces that may change priorities and deliverables.
Stays uptodate on leading edge projectmanagement practices.
Documents and communicates information in adetailed and precise manner.
Understands how external changes can impacttimelines deliverables resources and budget.
Knows how decisions will impact thecustomer/user and develops solutions that have the least risk to the customer.
Keeps project team members informed of eventsand issues that will impact their work.
Serves as a representative voice of the team;raises concerns to business owners when appropriate.
Incorporates business owners and customers expectations when prioritizing all initiatives related to a project.
Organizes timely project meetings and involvesnecessary team members to set and discuss objectives and potential obstacles.
Advanced computer skills and indepth knowledgeof different operating systems network administration and service deskadministration
Project management and leadership skills formanaging projects and the teams involved with them
Strong written and verbal communication skillsto coordinate with team members and management and explain technical issues
Analytical and problemsolving skills to handleany issues that occur during project completion
Organization and time management skills to keepprojects on track and within budget
Excellent resource planning and task schedulingskills
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in a related field from an accreditedcollege or university AND FIVE years of RECENT relevant project managementexperience with a progression in responsibility.
1. 10 years PM experience managing medium to largescale IT projects
2. Current PMP Certification
3. At least 3 years IT consulting experience.
4. SCRUM Master and/or Product Owner Experience
5. Advanced proficiency in System Development LifeCycle AND Agile methodology
6. Proficient in Microsoft Tools MicrosoftProject Visio SharePoint Outlook and Azure DevOps
7. Skilled at conflict resolution
8. Strong organizational analytical and problemsolving skills
9. Ability to communicate to management businessand technical personnel
