Job Description: Senior Data Analyst
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. This
is a handson technical role requiring a minimum of 6 years of experience with SQL and
shell scripting. The ideal candidate will work closely with global teams focusing on
innovation data quality and delivering user value through robust data analysis and
reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build test and deploy metrics reports and interactive dashboards using SQL and
visualization tools.
• Process and validate data integrity for detailed analysis.
• Analyze results using statistical techniques and generate ongoing reports.
• Collaborate with international teams to gather and process data from web crawler
software.
• Develop and implement data collection systems and analytics strategies for optimal
efficiency.
• Interpret data trends and patterns in complex datasets to identify actionable insights.
• Clean and filter data to address inconsistencies or performance issues.
• Prioritize and manage information needs in coordination with leadership.
• Lead process improvement initiatives and handle a team of data analysts.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in data analytics.
• Proficiency in TSQL PostgreSQL or Oracle SQL.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office particularly Excel and Word.
• Expertise in shell scripting and report writing.
• Excellent analytical skills with an emphasis on attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proven ability to handle highvolume data under tight deadlines.
• Competence in creating data dashboards graphs and visualizations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively under pressure.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
• Familiarity with Python Shell/Sed/Awk scripting.
• Indepth knowledge of data processing transformation methods and normalization.
• Robust problemsolving and analytical capabilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Technology or Master’s degree in Computer Applications.
