A cloudbased enterprise platform that revolutionizes merchandise and inventory management for retailers is looking for a seasoned and resultsoriented Senior Account Executive to lead direct sales in the U.S. market.
As an authority in retail technology and SaaS solutions the Senior Account Executive will proactively engage with midmarket and midenterprise clients targeting logistics managers planners and finance leaders (CFOs).
The ideal candidate is a proven "hunter" with a robust background in retail technology a comprehensive understanding of client requirements in logistics and finance and a strong history of consistently surpassing sales targets.
Responsibilities:
Direct Sales Execution: Manage the complete sales process from prospecting and pipeline development to closing deals focusing on midmarket and midenterprise clients in the U.S. retail sector.
Client Engagement: Establish and nurture relationships with key decisionmakers including logistics managers planners and CFOs ensuring our solutions are effectively tailored to meet their specific needs.
Market Expansion: Identify and seize new business opportunities within the midmarket retail sector enhancing client acquisition and market penetration.
Product Expertise: Serve as a knowledgeable advisor regarding our platform emphasizing the benefits of SaaS in retail technology and addressing core challenges in logistics and financial planning.
Sales Strategy: Collaborate with the Sales Director and other internal teams to formulate targeted sales strategies that drive revenue growth aligned with company objectives.
Pipeline Management: Diligently manage the sales pipeline using CRM tools to ensure accurate forecasting and reporting.
Travel Requirements: Travel as needed to engage with clients participate in industry events and strengthen our presence in the U.S. retail market.
Requirements:
Experience: A minimum of 8 years in direct sales with a solid track record in the retail technology and SaaS sectors.
Industry Knowledge: Deep expertise in selling to logistics managers planners and finance leaders (CFOs) with an understanding of their unique pain points and requirements.
Sales Skills: A demonstrated "hunter" mentality with a proactive approach to prospecting and closing new business.
SaaS Expertise: Extensive experience with SaaS solutions and a strong grasp of its value proposition in retail technology.
Client Focused: Proven ability to forge lasting relationships with midmarket and midenterprise clients positioning solutions that drive measurable outcomes.
Location: Based in the U.S. with a willingness to travel for client engagements.
