Job Description
What will you be doing
As a mechanical design engineer you will join Solihull team to support our activities within the aerospace sector.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Develop detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using advanced CAD software.
- Apply GD&T principles to ensure precise and accurate designs.
- Design for Manufacturability (DFM) to ensure designs are optimized for production.
- Create and optimize designs for electronic enclosures and other mechanical components.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure design requirements are met.
- Conduct design reviews and provide technical guidance.
- Ensure all designs comply with industry standards and regulations
Who are we looking for
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks AutoCAD or similar).
- Strong understanding of GD&T.
- Experience with DFM principles.
- Proven experience in designing electronic enclosures and automotive components

Qualifications :
Experience skills and qualifications required:
- 5 Years of Experience in mechanical design with a focus on 3D modelling and 2D drawings
- Must have a Masters or Bachelors degree within a relevant field of engineering
