Job Description
CEDA is currently looking for a Senior Leak Seal Technician to join our team! They will work in our highly skilled and continually expanding area of Leak Repair. This hourly position is located in Fort McMurray and may require travel to various locations.
This job is right for you if you have 4 years prior experience working in the field of leak repair; you are mechanically inclined and not afraid to work in tough work environments.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Seal leaks and repair piping systems and vessels
- Corrosion protection repair
- Line freeze
- Hot tap
- Control bolt
- Test and pipe isolations
- Cold cutting
- Work safely at heights up to 100 meters in a labour intensive capacity
- Climb safely into small vessels and tanks with industrial cleaning equipment our experienced crew has your back
- Leave the job site in better condition that when we got there. Clean safe and job done.
- Complete required paperwork for projects and jobs
Role Specifications
- Sr. Leak Seal Technician status (4 experience with leak sealing) required
- Class 5 licence with clean drivers abstract
- Work outdoors in harsh weather conditions
- Able to provide a negative result on a preemployment drug and alcohol test
Personal Characteristics
- You are safety focused when it comes to people and equipment
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Ability to prioritize and initiate innovative solutions
- Strong organizational and problem solving skills
- Comfortable with small and pneumatic tools
- Flexible schedule and able to work day or night shifts some travel is required
