Building solutions for a better life. The business area Bosch Building Technologies is a leading international supplier of systems solutions and services that enhance the safety of people buildings and property and contribute to greater comfort energy efficiency and sustainability.

Bosch Building Technologies is divided into the international product business and the regional system integration business. Currently the three product areas of video systems access control & intrusion detection systems and communication systems as well as the associated crosssectional functions within the business area are to be set up as an independent unit and then further developed by a new owner as a sustainable core business.

  • International and interdisciplinary collaboration: As an IT Product Owner & Team Lead for Presales and Marketing you will become part of the company being restructured in the future and will therefore work in a globally networked team of around 4300 colleagues that operates in over 50 countries.
  • Creative freedom and development opportunities: Both during the realignment phase and in the future you can expect exciting tasks and a wide range of personal and professional development opportunities in a dynamic team and a highly attractive market environment.
  • Take responsibility: You are responsible to build and lead a selforganized agile scrum team of Inhouse Consultants for Presales and Marketing in a scaled agile environment both technically and disciplinarily. In cooperation with the agile master you drive and coach the team to continuously improve performance and cooperation within the team and with other teams of the scaled agile environment. You ensure that the team have the right competences and resources available in alignment with the upcoming product roadmap and you drive performance management and career development processes for all individuals of the team. You manage and prioritize the team backlog with a view to the program and product priorities and considering all stakeholders.
  • Networked communication: The analysis and optimization of processes in cooperation with the respective business departments are part of your tasks.
  • Think holistically: You frequently align with other process areas thereby ensuring consistent integrated process and IT solutions. Additionally you manage relationships with business partners understand their needs refine and prioritize their requirements and integrate them in the delivery roadmap of the team. Together with other Product Owners and roles of the scaled agile environment you contribute to the continuous improvement of the collaboration within the scaled agile environment and to the further development and professionalization of the role of the Product Owner and improvement of product management processes within the scaled agile environment. You manage risks on team and program level and regularly align dependencies with other teams and other scaled agile environment roles.

Qualifications :

  • Education: degree in Business Administration Information Management Business Engineering or equivalent. Alternatively a relevant apprenticeship as well as extensive specialist skills and qualified trainings or a comparable qualification.
  • Personality and Working Practice: excellent communication skills and a confident behavior. In addition structured and goaloriented working style as well as strong analytical problem solving and decisionmaking skills. Along with cooperative positive entrepreneurial agile and future oriented mindset.
  • Experience and Knowledge: many years of experience in functional configuration design and implementation of IT solutions in SAP CRM Presales and C4C. Experience in working within a scaled agile environment (SAFe or similar) in an ITrelated department in a Product Owner or similar role. Proficiency in leading a team of software engineers and similar roles. Experience in integrating a modern servant leader mindset with the demands of traditional line management and a more traditional organization structure and hierarchy. Deep understanding of agile principles and methodology; and what their guardrails are within a midsize company IT department. Experience in managing a group of stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel: up to 30%
  • Languages: fluent written and spoken English language skills German skills are beneficial.
