Job Description
The purpose of this position is to translate deployed strategy business objectives requirements from customers stakeholders as well as standards and regulatory requirements into technical inputs to establish value stream capable of fulfilling needs of customer and stake holder expectations conforming to standards & guidelines as well as continuously enhancing value stream efficiency & effectiveness and achieve operational excellence
Knowledge
* Competent knowledge of the manufacturing process and MAE assembly & testing techniques measuring & testing equipment
* Competent knowledge in IE techniques GD&T
* Advanced knowledge in Statutory Organization Regulations Product liability Compliance & Risk Management
* Advance knowledge in Project management Production monitoring system ( MES MAS Bosch internal tools i4.0 solutions)
* Advance knowledge in Data analytics & Data Visualization (Power BI Tableau)
Functional skills
* Competent in the use of AIAG Core tools PFMEA Control Plan WI Engineering change management
* Competent in Statistical evaluation tools & Problem Solving Shainin 8D
* Basic skill in operating key machines & test equipment
* Competent in lean manufacturing techniques (Bosch Production system) Standards Basics LBP LLB PGL LLD
* Advance skill in Agile Methodology

Technical Capacity Management
Plan implement & continually develop a manufacturing.
value addition flow with resources e.g. space MAE testing
handling etc. capable of consistently manufacturing measuring monitoring validating and delivering products that meets all engineering regulatory & requirements of the customer.
Manufacturing Capacity / Capability TEK CpK Ergo safety compliance to meet customer requirements.
Value stream Planning
Monitor internal & external requirements (e.g. BU Plant VS
BP customer) true north and VS vision collaborate with Cross Functional stake holders to identify monitor & drive projects to lead Value stream towards a future state progressively raise efficiency & achieve operational excellence.
Delivery Performance TRLT TCT MAE Utilization.
Control Of Production Processes
Establish document & develop the release of processes. (e.g. CpK study PPAP etc) controls to manage processes. (e.g. control plans work instructions SPC etc) methods to track & monitor customer requirements reaction to nonconforming parts (e.g. reaction plan) to ensure defect free products. Ensure defect free products.
Budget Planning & Cost Management
Estimate & propose budgets for the upcoming planning periods required to run operations fulfil demands and execute development projects e.g. personnel tooling services MAE project costs etc. Track & adapt expenditure over respective periods to adhere to budget and achieve. Operational expense planning and control Business planning. Risk mitigation and business continuity.
Risk Analysis & Contingency Planning
Identify & evaluate risks to sustaining intended results e.g. delivery to customer assure zero defect products product recalls breakdown of single dependent machine etc. plan
document implement & test preventive and reactive measures to mitigate business & customer impact. Process Maturity Improvement Productivity improvement Cost/pc
FD T&C reduction IDC reduction
Problem Solving & Corrective Actions
Compile & assess deviations to defined standards in manufacturing e.g. infrastructure processes quality complaints FPY defect cost safety incident etc. Identify root causes ideate plan & implement necessary measures to fix issues to limit impact to the customer and business results. Implemented ideas per associate. System CIP project completion
MAE Tooling & Consumable Planning
Prepare technical inquiry scout market for suppliers of desired technology float inquiry & receive techno commercial offers conduct technical discussions & narrow down potential vendors. Initiate internal process to place purchase requests to procure required items & manage regular availability. Ensure availability of MAE tooling and consumables
Coaching & Knowledge Management
Initiate organize & lead engagement initiatives to coach motivate & support team in knowledge sharing pool collective knowledge for problemsolving understanding &
adoption of new standards methods & technology etc to enhance people potential encourage innovation & organizational development. Employee Satisfaction Index
Change Initiatives & Management
Evaluate manufacturing setup for efficiency technical. constraints & ideas from associates develop scenarios plan. (e.g. ECR process) & implement concepts (e.g. I4.0) & measures aimed at resolving issues upgrading setup with benchmark concepts to improve efficiency & effectiveness. of operations. Improved efficiency & effectiveness of
operations.
Project Management
Analyse new business requirements (e.g. product relocation product inquiry innovation project etc) evaluate business case develop project charter and project management plan coordinate drive and implement project plan in collaboration with cross functional teams to enable business growth. Project completion On Time On Spec On Cost
Management Reporting
Compile organize and represent manufacturing. performance data and insights to lead systematic. understanding of influences and aspects in Value stream as well as support different levels of hierarchy in taking wellinformed and strategic calls to support value stream goals. SQCD tracking and fulfilment.
Qualifications :
* Bachelors degree in engineering (Mech)
* Post Graduate Masters in Business Administration / M.Tech (Desirable)
* Certification in Quality Management Statistical tools Operations management Data Analytics
Agile methodology (Desirable)
Experience : Min 12 years of process planning activities in Auto component manufacturing industry
Additional Information :
- Basics know how of various controllers
- Knowledge on Machine Process capability and SPC.
- Experience in Assembly processes (e.g Screwing Pressing Crimping measurement systems Ultrasonic welding Leakage testing ( Pneumatic and Hydraulic) LASER welding Camera vision systems Injection molding etc..)
- Knowledge & experience in I 4.0 concepts
- Basic knowledge of various problem solving tools like 8D PSS Shianin Six sigma DOEetc.
